Hello to all who love to travel via a good book!

My name is Katie and I'm so happy that you stopped in to take a peek and learn more about me and my mission to create

God-driven fantasy stories.

I grew up with my nose in a book, often falling asleep mid-page, only to wake up and start right where I left off before doing the horrifically necessary acts of rolling out of bed and getting ready for school. Ugghhh... but, the school did have a library full of books, sooo... I did the things to get to the books.

I'm still a lover of books, but found my passion to write back on May 6th, 2019. That morning I saw my oldest slumped over her cereal, trying to find some bit of strength to face the day. As I watched her I thought to myself, "The woegies would have loved her." And BOOM! My childhood fantasy world full of Guardians, woegies, Kitri hawks and all things fantastical poured over me.

I write not just for my own children (and my own inner child), but for all who need to escape and find rest, encouragement, inspiration and a good laugh.

My writing buddies are Charlie-bear and Lady-Boo, the sweetest little lap warmers that have never left my side (literally) as I write. 

I'm supported by my 'unicorn husband' (Yes, men like him DO exist!) Jeff, and my two incredible daughters, Elizabeth and Olivia. But no one has given me more strength, encouragement and support than my saving grace, God my Father.
